This Alice necklace has been made using paper taken from an old copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. A section featuring her name has been selected to form the background and then extra detail has been added with a tiny origami fan (remember the White Rabbit), and a rose (which the playing card soldiers have not yet had time to paint). Alice's adventures in Wonderland must be one of the most popular children's books ever written and as well as the original text has also been made into a number of film adaptations. This pendant would therefore make a perfect gift for any fan of Alice or  indeed for any lover of books or reading. As each pendant will be individually made each pendant will be unique but the background will be cut so as to feature the name of Alice.

The pendant comes with a choice of chain lengths as listed in the variations and will come with a note explaining the significance of the paper used. Coordinating earrings are also available in my shop to make up a matching set.
 
Details:
The pendant comes on a 45 cm (18 inches) chain.
The pendant itself measures 5 cm (2 inches) by 2.5 cm (approximately 1 inch).
The paper elements will be given several coats of good-quality varnish to add strength and durability as well as water resistance.
It comes wrapped together with a certificate of authenticity to guarantee the book used.
A tree will be planted as a thank you.
